Release Day

Here I am in the early days of the information age.

Putting out a new album is a special moment for me. Each one is a chapter of my life. The ritual of releasing the recording is part of letting that chapter go and beginning a new one.

It feels good to give this one to you as we fall into the autumn of this strange year. It is a time of both turbulence and stagnancy. No one knows what will happen next...but something will. A new chapter of the human story will begin soon. And then another one after that. And on and on. Isn't it a bizarre miracle to be alive and playing a small part in it for a little bit? I'm grateful to still be here, no matter where the story goes, and I'll keep singing about it.

Also, there are new items for sale at the online store!

1. Digital Package of the new album! This is the only way you can get Part Two (twelve more tracks and 59 more minutes) of The Information Age until 2021. This comes with a PDF songbook of the lyrics and chords to all the songs on the album. Also a link to high quality AIFF files if that's your thing. Pretty sweet.

2. Beautiful Physical Songbook! Very limited edition run of signed, hand sewn songbooks in six different colors that has the lyrics and chords to all the songs. These books are really cool and they were a lot of work to make. It's a piece of art and a book! You will also be emailed a link to the digital package of the new album if you buy this. Bonus: you support the United States Postal Service.

These are the only ways The Information Age will manifest itself in the world. No new plastic and no new waste. It's the information age!
